Scientists from the University of the Philippines (UP) have recently identified the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) as one of the testing centers for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the Visayas.
Dr. Raul Destura of the UP Manila National Institute of Health (UP -NIH) and UP Philippine Genome Center, announced this in a press briefing in UP Diliman, Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Destura also said they considered infectious disease experts working in these hospitals as part of their selection process.

Also located within the compound are the UV Gullas College of Medicine, the University of the Visayas College of Nursing, the Gullas College of Dentistry, the Tan Kim Ching Cancer Center, and an upcoming Cosmetic Surgery Center.

We send our students by batches for BS and for MD to our UV Gullas Campus. The students are trained to face the visa interview, and are helped individually, in reaching the UV Gullas campus safely. We also hand hold our students during the entire tenure of their course while doing MBBS in Philippines, be it with respect to documentations, or the Medical Council of India (MCI), or The Indian Embassy in the Philippines or the Philippines Government and, for the Visa Processing or renewal.
