It is the Admissions office for India and International MBBS Students can also take admissions from here. It is based in Vadapalani, Chennai. The UV Gullas Admissions Coordinators will help in getting the entire process rolled, and will get you smoothly enrolled into the UV Gullas Medical College BS-MD program. The expected certificates for starting the admission program is :

  1. Birth Certificate.
  2. 10th Standard Certificate.
  3. 12th Standard Certificate.

The programs entail you to submit transcripts of the same. The above is applicable if you are enrolling for the BS with MD program. If you are a direct entrant into the UV Gullas Medical College MD program, then you would need to submit the following documents first :

1. What are the Documents Required during Counseling and Admission Process?

The list of 19 documents are :

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. 10th marksheet (SSLC) or Equivalent
  3. 12th marksheet (SSLC) or Equivalent

For MD, the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) which is conducted by the Center for Educational Measurement and is conducted twice a year – during the period of November – December and the period of April – May in all leading cities in Philippines. The score required is not going to affect the admission because it is the colleges that de the cut offs.

The list of Documents required to process a student loan are as follows :

  1. Admission letter of the Educational Institute giving details of year wise fee, boarding and lodging expenses.

5. When did the University of Visayas Start?

The University of the Visayas was founded by late Don Vicente A. Gullas. The University of the Visayas is in Cebu City, Philippines. Started in 1919, the University of the Visayas was then known as the Visayan Institute (V.I.).

8. What if I fail in NEXT?

MBBS Students can apply and attempt the National Exit Test (NEXT) any number of times up until the age bar put up by the Medical Council of India (MCI). However, the UV Gullas campus trains our MBBS students while they do MBBS in Philippines, for United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and the Medical Council of India (MCI) Exams. USMLE is the toughest screening medical exam in the world and the students of UV Gullas Medical College have an 82% pass record. Hence, passing the Medical Council of India (MCI) Exams like the National Exit Test (NEXT) shouldn’t be a problem.
